raindrops hover in the air, their scents raw,
poised, to wash away the striations on the stone.

In this dimly lit room,
tranquility shrouds the shadow,
cracks traverse along the walls and china.
A convulsing world,
but only tremors are felt at the surface.

On this dew-strewn field,
tracks are eternal.
Memories glide along the gentle breeze,
they echo the voices of faded frames.

On this day,
let the shimmering rainbow drive away the rain;
let the radiance of the stars guide us past this pain.
Whisper the secrets that were never tasted,
and give rise to flames in the ashtray.

On that day,
the door will be locked.
And all you need,
is not a key,
but a little knock.
